Last Saturday, April 13th the Adamson Bros martial arts academy hosted their second In House Tournament. The 2nd Annual Tournament gathered the best youth competitors from across Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
“We had the absolute best competitors in the Pacific Northwest all came out here to represent their team and compete for prizes, sponsor packs and trophies!” said Event Founder and Academy Co-Owner, Zachay Adamson.

We had kids from Team Quest, Gracie Barra, Team Marcelo Alonso, Elite BJJ and Five Rings Jiu Jitsu all sign up and hit the mats. Stand out competitors included the Gastelum girls of Seaside who received the trophy for, “Best Match of the Day.” The trophy for, “Best Technique,” was awarded to Alan Villenueva of Seattle Wa., Gracie Barra Acaedmy.

Along with the 50 or so kids who made the trip out to the coast the Adamson Bro’s also brought together the best, “Invitational Purple Belt Super Fights,” the Pacific Northwest has ever seen. The Adamson Bro’s brought in the top lightweight and featherweight purple belts from Springfield Or., Portland Or., Eugene Or., Coeur d’ Alene Id., SandPoint Id., Seattle Wa., and even South Korea.
All the super fighters competed for the cash prizes, cash bonuses, sponsor packs and the Cup/Title. The Adamson Bros Martial Arts Academy had the backing of major international brazilian jiu jitsu sponsors such as OSS, 1914 Kimonos, Moya Brand, Gracie Magazine, Gi Soap, BJJ-World.info as well as a ton of support from local companies like Cleanline Surf Shop, Norma’s Seafood, Da Kine and Oney’s Restaurant
