BBC Seminars in beautiful Seaside OR!

Last Saturday the Adamson Bros hosted a seminar with world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athlete and coach, James Puopolo.  This was a great treat for all the students at the Seaside Jiu Jitsu Academy.  “We had a about 15 students in attendance and you could tell by the way the group was engaged that they were loving every minute of this seminar!” said Head Instructor Zach Adamson.  Professor Poupolo has been coming to Clatsop County to train with Adamson Bros and Rafael Lovato Jr.  since 2007.

The 2013 seminar covered many of James best tournament tested techniques including how to control grips from the feet, proper guard-pull mechanics as well as the open guard.  Puopolo is considered one of the top American Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts and has collected medals from the American Nationals, Pan Am’s, World Championship, and Abu Dhabi trails.  Not only is James a world class competitor but also a great coach and teacher.  He has the ablity to deliver clear and consistence techniques while making a strong connect with his audience.  Check out this Highlight from his last event!
