The Seaside Jiu Jitsu Academy was recently featured in the recent addition of “Making The Dollar,” located in the business section of The Daily Astorian.  Journalist, Edward Stratton made the trip doen to the Adamson Borthers martial Arts Academy to interview the brothers about their business and how its making progress in 2013.  Ed asked the Adamson’s about how they got started on their journey in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and also what motivated them to start their school here in Clatsop County.  The Adamson brothers explained how they started in Astoria, Oregon back in 2003 under the tutelage of a Carlson Gracie, brown belt.

Starton was also curious about what services we offer and the total amount of our students base.  One of the main subjects of this particular interview was how the economy has affected their school.  (If you would like to read the article you can click here to view it now.)

The Seaside Jiu Jitsu Academy and The Daily Astoria have had a long running relationship since they first opened their doors in 2008.  “The journalism team and staff at the Daily Astorian have always reached out to us and helped spread our news to the local community.  Further more, they have provided excellent coverage of our most prestigious events.  We greatly appreciate their support with this recent review in, making the dollar.” said Coach Nathan Adamson
